The Lancet recently published research that suggested that 1 in 5 deaths are associated with poor diet. Of all the 195 countries they surveyed they found the greatest deaths were in Uzbekistan as the lowest was at Israel (the United States arrived at 43rd).

So if your are planning for a vacation based on one's preference of cuisine and when one is interested in transitioning to a more nutritious diet, perhaps you ought to pop on over to Israel. Alternatively, if one is planning death by eating, there is no need to visit Uzbekistan.
